Resolved Question: In California, What happens If a person doesn't pay the cities police booking fee?

After court you're ordered to pay restitution and "x" in this case someone is being charged $700. (already paid)Plus redondo beach city(I'm guessing police) booking fees which is $250(not yet paid)... A lawyer that gave advice says you don't gave to pay that $250 fee bc it's small and they wouldn't bother Going after you ..so is that true? Will everything be ok if it is not payed?
